For over three decades (running from the 1980's till date) , the Engine Systems Symposium has been an ongoing tradition at Cranfield University. It is a programme run by the MSc Thermal Power Students under the endorsement of the Department of Power and Propulsion with the progressive objective of knowledge increase, impartation and idea generation towards the development and improvement of the gas turbine engine system.
This year, the 39th Engine System Symposium would be held at Cranfield University on the 5th and 6th of September 2013. Students would present topics on various aspects of gas turbine engine systems. The experience would include broad exchanges of research, knowledge and information as well as learning from expertise in the industry within the audience. A diverse range of audiences are expected, including major gas turbine manufacturers, maintenance contractors, technical societies, software developers, publishers and any interested individuals.
